On behalf of the Tibetan American Community of Connecticut, I am writing to cordially invite you to join us in celebrating Losar, the Tibetan New Year, on March 1st, 2025. This auspicious occasion marks the beginning of the Year 2152 in the Tibetan calendar, the Year of the Wood Snake.
Our celebration will feature:
• Traditional Tibetan cultural performances (Reduced to minimal to respect the victims of recent
earthquake in Tibet.)
• Authentic Tibetan cuisine
• An opportunity to meet and interact with other members.
The event will be attended by guests and numerous community members, making it an excellent opportunity to connect with people, culture and traditions that continue to thrive in Connecticut.
