We are excited to introduce our *Lhakar Gorshey Program*, a unique initiative dedicated to the study, preservation, and promotion of Tibetan arts and culture. Through this program, we offer an immersive opportunity to learn about the rich tapestry of Tibetan music, dance, and storytelling while actively contributing to safeguarding these invaluable traditions.
At the heart of this program lies a commitment to the powerful messages embedded within Tibetan folklore—like the tale of the Four Harmonious Brothers, who remind us of the importance of unity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence. Through the expressive forms of music and dance, our program brings these values to life, enriching both the minds and hearts of all participants.
How You Can Support the Lhakar Gorshey Program
There are many ways you can join us in this important mission. By participating in or sponsoring the program, you help ensure that Tibetan arts continue to thrive and inspire future generations. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
1. Sponsor a Week’s Expenses – Your donation of $100 will cover the expenses for one week’s worth of lessons and activities.
2. Instrumental Sponsorship – A $50 contribution towards essential musical instruments, or a $300 for a new Dranyen.
3. Customs Sponsorship – Your $50 donation towards traditional costumes for kids, or a $300 for set of Tibetan traditional custom for a kid for a set of authentic attire.
4. Full Month Sponsorship – A generous donation of $300 will cover the space rental
